Blanche releases the official audio for her single "Soon"
Ellie Delvaux, popularly known as Blanche garnered attention when she participated in Eurovision Song Contest with her song “City Lights”. The singer represented Belgium and finished at the fourth place.
Blanche’s vocal talents might seem to resonate with artists like Lorde but a quick exploration will be enough for one to realize her uniqueness as a singer.
The artist has now released the audio for her single “Soon”. The audio was released on 20th July via YouTube and other music streaming platforms.
Unlike “City Lights” that had an urgency in terms of sound, “Soon” put each and every word of the lyrics into focus. This dreamy single will immediately remind listeners of “Mystery of Love” from “Call Me By Your Name”. With guitar as its backdrop, the melancholic single talks about one’s despair, “a beautiful lie” that hides the nightmare one can find oneself living in. But each verse ends with a hopeful chorus where a saviour can be expected to bring happiness.
“Soon” is a second single of the year by Blanche and we look forward to many more. She is an artist of potential who can disrupt the music industry with her musical talent. We definitely look forward to her projects.
